What do you see when you hear music of 80's? Naive and sometimes childlike motive just like played on toy-piano? Big and even funny today hair-dresses? Coats «the Bat» with a big shoulders and hanged sleeves? Short skirts and big boots? Panthyhouses like a net? This list is neverending, and everybody have his own. In present days there is a big nostalgie of 80's years. It is strange but not just people "after 30" love 80's music but young peoples and even teenagers! So it's must be very interesting to know more about 80's years!

About what this book? In present days there are a lot of miscellaneouses and sometimes inconsistent information about 80's: biographies, discographies, remembers, interviews... This book is attempt to unite all the information and find the scintillas of truth amongst a lot of varieties facts and conjectures... This attempt gave to see day-light for my book!

This labour is intended to systematize somehow and regularize all that sea of the words, which it is difficult even to comprehend. Here you will find the disco appearance from what headwaters, what layer of music mass-culture was preceded it, how developed the disco style and how it was changed to beginning of 90's years.

Furthermore you will know ways of disco development not just in Europe but also in USSR which was behind the iron curtain in that time but had a lot of disco muscians and music groups! You will not find this information in other places!

Is not left aside and toolbox of that period - music instruments of 80's, equipment, which was used for disco developing. Events, facts, congitations and other all the manner of not musical aspects, accompanied a stiletto development.
